Following the resolution of the dialect issue among the Nkim and Nkum group on the 12th May 2012, the groups agreed to work together and formed a committee on the same date. The sixteen positions were shared evenly among the groups and everyone was happy with the sharing/zoning system.
The inaugural meeting took place on the 26th May 2012 with the inauguration been conducted by one of the eldest chiefs of the Nkim clan who charged them to be committed to task of their offices and see to it that a Bible is translated in the Nkim/Nkum language.
The chairman in his inaugural speech admitted that the task is enormous, but pleaded that all hands must be on desk in order to justify the trust the community has given to them.
